    Advantage Multi for Cats (imidacloprid + moxidectin) Topical Solution is used on cats and kittens 9 weeks of age and older that weighs 2 or more pounds (lbs) to:

    • Prevent heartworm disease
    • Treat flea infestations
    • Treat and control ear mite infestations
    • Treat and control intestinal parasite infections

    Advantage Multi for Cats Topical Solution should only be used by or on the order of a licensed veterinarian.

    Directions

    Administer Advantage Multi for Cats Topical Solution as your veterinarian has prescribed. It is used once a month. Your veterinarian will determine an appropriate dosage for your cat based on its age and weight.

    Applying Advantage Multi for Cats Topical Solution:

    1. Take out one dose applicator tube from the package.
    2. Hold the tube upright and take the cap off the tube.
    3. Turn the cap over and push the other end onto the tip of the tube.
    4. Twist the cap to break the seal then take the cap off the tube.
    5. Part your cat’s fur on the back of its neck at the base of the head until you see skin. Position the tip of the tube on the skin and apply the entire contents directly onto the cat’s skin. Lift the tube away from the skin before releasing pressure on the tube.
    6. Thoroughly wash your hands with soap and warm water after handling the medication.
    7. Do not let your cat get the product in its eyes or mouth. Do not allow your cat to lick the site of application for 30 minutes.
    8. Your cat’s fur may appear temporarily stiff, matted, damp, or oily at the application site; this does not affect the safety of the product or how well it works.
