Directions

This topical flea medication is for external use only and is not to be used with puppies under seven weeks of age. You must also consult with your veterinarian before beginning the use of Advantage with debilitated, aged, pregnant or nursing animals. Also, be aware that some pets may show themselves to be sensitive to the use of this product and if thatās the case you should cease using Advantage immediately. Plus, if your pet is taking any other medication it is best to discuss possible interaction risks with your veterinarian before beginning the use of Advantage.
Interactions
There are no known interaction risks between the use of Advantage II for pets and any other Rx pet medication but it is recommended to discuss all medications your pet is currently taking when speaking with your veterinarian about flea medication.
Side Effects
Side effects from use of Advantage for pets are uncommon, but may include skin irritation, gastrointestinal issues like vomiting, diarrhea or hypersalivation, and lethargy. If any of these symptoms continue or worsen you should see a veterinarian.
