Directions
Administering Heartworm Interceptor Spectrum for dogs is as simple as offering your dog a treat. You can hand them these flavored dog heartworm chews and they’ll happily eat them. If for some reason your dog won’t, another option is to mix the tablet into wet dog food.
Never give your dog a chew any more often than once a month, and you should try to give it to them at the same time every month. Interceptor Spectrum for dogs can be administered at the same time as flea and tick medications provided you continue to follow the directions exactly as indicated for either prescription.

Cautions
This chewable deworming tablet medication is for animal use only, and is for use with adult dogs or puppies that are six weeks of age or older.
Dogs should be tested for existing heartworm disease before beginning on Interceptor Spectrum.
You must also consult with your veterinarian before beginning use of Heartworm Interceptor Spectrum with debilitated, aged, pregnant or nursing animals. Also be aware that some pets may show themselves to be sensitive to use of this product and if that’s the case you should cease using Interceptor Spectrum chews immediately. Plus, if your pet is taking any other medication it is best to discuss possible interaction risks with your veterinarian before beginning use of a dog dewormer.

Interactions
There are no known interaction risks between use of Heartworm Interceptor Spectrum for dogs and any other Rx pet medication but it is recommended to discuss all medications your pet is currently taking when speaking with your veterinarian about worm medication.
Side Effects
Side effects from use of Interceptor Spectrum for dogs are uncommon, but may include vomiting, phlegming, and glassy eyes. Any such symptoms that no do subside or increase should lead you to discontinue use and see your veterinarian.
